Real Club Valderrama is the best golf course in Spain and for many in Europe, and one of the best maintained in the world. Robert Trent Jones designed this golf course surrounded by cork oaks, which is a real challenge for any player.
It is undoubtedly a golfing reference within the reach of very few amateur players, as we are talking about one of the most exclusive clubs in the world. Since 1997, when it hosted the Ryder Cup, it has been known worldwide, as it was the first to be held outside the United Kingdom and the United States.
Nowadays, it has hosted the Estrella Damm Andalucía Masters for several years, becoming one of the best tournaments on the European Tour. Every year a large group of players attend the event, with a large part of the Spanish armada, including Sergio García, a lover of the course, where he has triumphed on numerous occasions. Jon Rahm is also a regular at one of his favourite courses.
